Mosdell, Doug(las) Keith born in Maple Ridge B.C. passed away October 20, 2021 in
Vancouver B C. at the age of 61. He was predeceased by his father Keith Mosdell and
father-in-law Robert (Bob) Morton. Doug will be lovingly and sadly missed forever by his
wife Nancy; sons Brad (Victoria), Bryan, Brent (Kandace); grandsons Wyatt, Ryker,
Wesley and granddaughter Kynsley. Also mourning his loss; mother Betty Trerise,
sister Lori (Ed), brother Kevin (Tracy), mother-in-law Bertha Morton, brother -in-laws
Stephen (Dianne) and Raymond. Two nieces and nephews and families. Last, but
certainly not least, Doug’s extended family, work family and friends who all completed his life.
Doug loved all sports, especially participating in soccer, baseball, fishing, golf and 5 pin bowling.
It was 5 pin bowling that truly became his passion for which he excelled to the national level.
Doug was truly proud of his accomplishment to the sport. We too were proud of him.
Doug was a “lifer” at PoCo Building Supplies. He started there in 1979. He loved the company
and his work. Doug enjoyed his golf tournaments through his company and games/trips
with friends. He made many friends and memories through his sons activities/sports.
Doug wasn’t one to verbalize his feelings, but he loved and cherished his family.
He was so very proud of his sons and families. He didn’t have enough time with his
grandkids, but loved them to bits. Doug never complained about the “health cards
he was dealt.” He was always positive and so very strong. You deserve peace.
Doug/Dad/Grampa. Love you always and forever. XOXO
Our heartfelt thanks to the numerous doctors, nurses and all healthcare teams that
took care of him on his 18+year journey. If you choose, please donate to your favourite
charity or suggest leukemia/bone marrow transplant, BC transplant society.
Doug encourages any who are able to donate blood and become an organ donor.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday Nov 3rd 12pm-4pm. Port Coquitlam
Legion – Cadet Hall 133-2675 Shaughnessy Street

Tribute :Nancy and familyJust wanted to let you know that we will miss Doug. I have a couple favourite memories of when he captained the boat on Kootenay lake and tried not to laugh to hard when I flew out of the tube after he gunned the engine. Doug always had a quick smile and let me know how happy he was to be at our daughters wedding. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten
