Agostinho Born on April 18, 1919 in Fenais da Luz, Ponta Delgada, Azores, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2007. After coming to Vancouver in 1957, he was able to have his wife and three children join him in 1960. He worked on the PGE Railway in Northern B.C. and then became a long time employee of Dillingham Construction, working on many large projects such as the IronworkersMemorialBridge. Agostinho is survived by his wife Belmira and children, Manuel (Sara), Maria (Jim), John, Annette (Jim) and Odette (Bill). Also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Many thanks to the staff at the Banfield Pavilion for all of their care over the past 2 years.
