Albino Robalo Barata born in Minas da Panasqueira, Portugal passed away peacefully on August 15, 2022 in Vancouver, BC at the age of 84. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Maria Manuela de Jesus Silva Barata, his daughter Manuela (Tom), his son Daniel (Nives), his 3 grandchildren Amanda (Przemek), Angelina and Stefan and great granddaughter Sofia. Albino was a welder and left his village to work on the Ponte 25 de Abril bridge in Lisbon. While in Lisbon, he met his wife Maria Manuela and they soon married and moved to Paris, France. From Paris they immigrated to Vancouver in September of 1966 and this became their home. Albino loved to garden, fish, swim, travel and watch Benfica, his favourite soccer team.
