It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by the love of her life, her husband of 62 years Michel, daughters Rose, Therese (John), sons Mike ( Christine), Marcel (Sharon), Daniel (Kim), 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, siblings Claire Caouette (Gilbert), Denise Herchuk (Drew), Sister Rose-Marie Goguely, Victor Goguely (Linda), many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mom’s positive zest for life combined with the determination she always possessed when approaching any challenge never wavered even in the brave way she tackled cancer. She maintained a true sense of church and community spirit, achieving 60 years of participation in the CWL, volunteering and supporting numerous charities throughout her life. Her greatest joy and passion in life was her family, enjoying every opportunity to gather together, taking a special interest in all our accomplishments and always being there to acknowledge and celebrate our special occasions. Mom’s devotion to her family leaves us with so many fond memories of our time spent together, her love will continue. A special thanks to the staff at Crossroads Hospice for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers and in her honour donations to Blind Beginnings, Crossroads Hospice or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Prayers will be said 7:00 pm Friday January 15, 2016 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish 1320 Johnson St., Coquitlam, B.C. Where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Saturday January 16, 2016. Rev. Craig Scott celebrant. Interment to follow at Robinson Cemetery, Coquitlam, B.C.
