ALFANO, Antonio (Tony) Giovanni, 62 years old, 1960-2022. Tony passed away suddenly at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, BC, on Wednesday, September 28th. Tony was born in Langley, BC and lived most of his life in Port Kells and Coquitlam. Tony was survived by his mother, Shirley Alfano, sisters, Tina (Leandre) Bourque and Eva (Rick) Folsom, two nieces, Crystal Kreschuk and Juanita (Shane) Bourque, two nephews, Thaddee (Sylvie) Bourque and Nicolas Bourque. Tony is survived by several great nieces and nephews, Katrina (Morgan) Kreschuk, Monica Bourque, Logan Bourque, Jade Kreschuk, Violet Kreschuk and Maverick Guitar. Tony was preceded by his father, Francesco Alfano, sister, Doreen Kreschuk and nephew Chad Kreschuk. Tony also leaves behind many good friends and extended family members.
Tony was an avid camper and golfer. He was known to be quiet, kind, patient, loving and was never afraid to voice his opinion and would protect his family and friends. He enjoyed weekly family gatherings and playing cards at the local legion with his friends. Service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, October 6th at Our Lady of Assumption at 3141 Shaughnessy St., Port Coquitlam, BC, with a reception to follow.
