Craig Stanley Cowan
June 24, 1958 – April 27, 2026
Our hearts are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Craig Stanley Cowan on April 27, 2026. The world has lost a bright shining star, and those who knew and loved Craig have lost a truly remarkable man. Though our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the love, memories, laughter, and years we were blessed to share with him.
Craig lived a life rich in family, friendship, laughter, hard work, and simple joys. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and stepdaughter, his two sisters and brother-in-law, three nephews, cousins and second cousins and their families, as well as his many beloved four-legged kids and grandkids, and a wide circle of treasured friends who brought great joy and meaning to his life.
Over the years, Craig wore many hats — husband, stepfather, teacher, administrator, handyman, renovator, mentor, and friend. He was someone people could count on for help, conversation, practical advice, or simply a good laugh. His easygoing nature and genuine interest in others allowed him to make friends wherever he went, both lifelong companions and new connections alike.
Craig found happiness in life’s uncomplicated pleasures: time with family and friends, summer rides on his bicycle, drives in his classic convertible with the sun shining, playing soccer, listening to Jimmy Buffett songs, watching Survivor, spending time at our home in Mexico, and enjoying a good bowl of ice cream. He appreciated moments that brought people together and created memories that lasted.
He leaves behind the village of family and friends who surrounded him and supported him with love and prayers throughout his journey. To all of you, please know that he was so very grateful.
Craig also leaves behind countless stories, laughter, lessons, and acts of kindness that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life for Craig will be held on June 24, 2026.
