Dubravko Kresimir (Kreso) Pavlovic passed peacefully on December 19th. Up to the time of his death Kreso remained active and just a few days before he passed Kreso was still planting flowers in his daughter’s garden. He was one of four children born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Franjo and Delfa Pavlovic. In 1967 he married Nevenka and then together with their two children moved to Canada in 1975. Kreso had a passion for gardening and for many years was the Head Gardener at the University of British Columbia up until 2003. He loved spending time in his own garden and also enjoyed time with his family. When he retired from UBC, a park bench was commemorated in his name on the university campus celebrating his work and acknowledging his legacy.
Kreso was preceded in death by Nevenka his loving wife of 53 years, and his three siblings Berislav, Ante and Dubravka. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jasenka and Martina, as well as the many caring extended family members and friends that he touched during his lifetime.
