Tribute :It was a pleasure to meet John for the first twenty five years ago. though I saw him infrequently he always had the most engaging personality and unparalleled warmth. He truly filled the room with his booming voice and could provide great laughter as he regaled with his stories. He maintained all of throes qualities while he fought for his life at VGH.. he truly was one of a kind... his loving spirit will truly be missed... Condolences to his friends and family who will undoubtedly feel his loss deeply.

Tribute :Heaven has a incredible angel now, earth has lost you, remembering how funny you were since 12 years old, loud and proud old friend. Hearing of your passing has brought me great sadness, so young John. You were even at a young age a person who stood out from the crowd, funny, jovial, pleasant, a real friend to many. Although you mostly hung around with my brother Bill Goodwin, i remember you fondly as someone who deserved to be liked. Farewell my friend, your prescense is remember and will be missed by many. Loves n hugs Bonnie xoxoxo

Tribute :We were so sorry to hear the very sad news so long after Johnny’s passing. Johnny had been re doing our pool deck, and was a n absolute gentleman to deal with. He tackled every detail with perfection and enthusiasm, and his sense of humour and positive nature was always appreciated. He had a passion it seemed for everything he did! No doubt, he is greatly missed by family and friends. Wishing comfort to all in the wonderful memories he left you.
