Mary Catherine Goble

Born in Toronto Ont. Passed away peacefully in Eagle Ridge
Hospital at the age of 70. Mary fought a courageous and
inspiring six year battle with cancer, with perseverance and
grace which we can only admire at the highest level.
Predeceased by Brother Jimmy and Sister Francis.
She is survived by loving husband Bill, Children Chris
(Lorraine), Kathleen (Dave), Travis (Tanya), Grandchildren,
Mitchell, Krisdee, Sophia, Nick and Jacob.
Mary’s life was enriched by 3 children, 5 grandchildren,
6 loving brothers and sisters, extended family, life-long
friends and ever devoted husband Bill. Those who knew Mary,
were truly blessed. She positively impacted so many through her
thoughtfulness and compassion which made others feel valued,
special and loved. Her generosity was not limited to her family and
friends, but extended to many facets within the community.
She particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren
and enriched their lives by planning special events for them and
by celebrating all of life’s milestones big and small. She also
continuously encouraged them to be thoughtful and caring to others.
Mary will be remembered by her fun loving spirit, adventurous attitude
and keen sense of humour. This humour was always sprinkled throughout
her lively conversations and her overall outlook on life. Mary will be sorely
missed by many for whom her charismatic personality inspired others through
faith, strength and intelligence. Catholic mass will be celebrated Thursday
May 12, 11:00am at Saint Clare of Assisi Parish, 1320 Johnson St. Coquitlam,
BC, Fr. Craig Scott celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully acknowledged
to Lion’s Gate Hospital Foundation.
